E-Commerce Jewelry Store Redesign
David Alexander Jewelry is a well-established fine and custom jewelry showroom in South Tampa, FL. We were excited to work on this project because not only were we revamping the showroom’s website, but we added an e-commerce store as well so customers can now shop in person or online.
The Previous Website
Their previous Wix Website had limited features, frustrating the owner and his team. With no local SEO copywriting, custom title tags or meta descriptions, the website also wasn’t ranking well on Google. The team had beautiful photos of their pieces but they weren’t being utilized and David Alexander offers more than just jewelry for purchase, but that wasn’t clear.

E-Commerce
Adding the ability to shop online offers a modern way to reach new customers. The e-commerce shop allows customers to browse and purchase all of David Alexander’s fine jewelry online. To make it easy for website visitors to search, we categorized pieces by type as well as by event i.e. bridal.
The color palette got an update of soft black and seashell with a complementary shade of rich brown to match the luxury brand.
We created pages with descriptions of the store’s other services: custom work, appraisals, and repairs.
A section to “design your own engagement ring” with custom copy and embedded software that allows users to choose their diamond in real time sets David Alexander apart from other local showrooms.
