Website design questions answered
How long will it take to design my website?
The annoying answer everyone hates. It depends! The complexity of the website, the size of the project, and whether you have images, logo, and service information ready to go all play a role in determining the timeline.
For a simple website, it can take a few weeks. More complex websites may require several months. To get a precise estimate, it’s best to discuss your project with us.
Can you redesign my outdated website?
Absolutely! Do you need a little zhuzh or a total redesign? Let’s have a conversation so we can fully grasp your specific goals and vision for the redesign.
Maybe you don’t have a vision, but one thing you do know is you’re not getting a whole lotta calls. In that case, we’ll analyze your existing website, propose a detailed plan, and create a new modern design that aligns with your brand and attracts new customers.
Why do I have to pay a monthly service fee? I just want a basic website.
Websites don’t just run on their own. They require maintenance and upgrades to keep them loading fast and performing optimally.
Our monthly care plans are designed for small business owners who don’t want to handle maintaining their own websites. We have some ultra-affordable options that include backups, updates, technical support and more.
How often can I add new photos or content, and how much will it cost?
Updates and adding new content to your website is a great idea! If you choose our premium monthly service plan, your updates are covered. This includes stuff like swapping out photos or adding new testimonials. Simply send us the content, and we’ll handle the rest.
If you opt for the Essential plan which does not include content edits, it’s still easy to make changes to your site, charged an hourly rate.
It’s also simple to add a new service page or blog post. Reach out and let’s chat about it.
I need a website, but I don’t even know what to ask for.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. That’s our job.
Think of it like this: If you’re renovating your bathroom, you shouldn’t be expected to know everything about permits, layout, and ventilation. You’d partner with an experienced contractor who asks the right questions so they can guide you through decisions and then it’s their job to make it happen and keep you in the loop during the process.
Good website design works just like that.
If you already have a vision in mind, we’d love to hear it. If not, congrats! You’re like most small business owners. We’ll take the wheel and you’ll comfortably ride shotgun. At the end of the project you’ll have a brand spanking new website to show off.

Why should I work with a local website designer near me? It's the internet. Can't I hire anyone anywhere?
Good question! Here’s the deal:
We’ve heard from clients who tried working with overseas designers that it can be frustrating to communicate with someone who’s in a totally different time zone. Sometimes it’s just easier to work with someone during your business hours, not theirs.
Plus, there’s built-in accountability. You know where to find us (hint: it’s Tampa).
The stakes are higher to do a good job when you can actually bump into each other at Publix.
Speaking of face to face encounters, if you’re in Tampa and want to meet up, we’re here for it. Nothing beats sitting down with a cup of coffee to hash out ideas in real life.

Do you work with clients outside of Tampa?
Yes! While the majority of our clients live and work in the Central Florida area, we love connecting with people from all over the country. If you have a service-based business in the US, email us at hello@bungalowwebdesign.com to discuss your project.
