Foolproof Guide To Transforming Boring Sentences Into Money Making Website Copy
By Kristie Parker
Most adults write the way they learned to in 5th grade – boring essay style. But unless your business has something to do with academic textbooks, that dull stuff doesn’t work. People hate it. Google hates it. Luckily, transforming those boring sentences into money making copy isn’t that hard when you follow a few simple steps.
Create an Eye-Catching & SEO-Friendly Local Headline That Brings More Traffic to Your Site
Have a location-dependent business? One that can only serve customers/clients in a specific location? Then make sure you use the name of your location(s) in your website copy.
Next, have a keyword (or keyphrase) for each page. Use that keyword in your headline. Ex: “mental health counseling”
Then make it short and sweet.
Here’s an example:
Write Original Thoughts That Come From Your Experience or Imagination To Engage Actual Humans
Write specifically, not broadly. It’s more engaging.
If you’ve been in business for a while, use explanations and metaphors that you say when talking with your customers. If you’re a new business owner, imagine how you want your customers to experience your service.
And again, keep it short and sweet.
Use Icons, Checklists and Bullet Points Instead Of Long Paragraphs To Break Up The Info
The Formula For Money Making Copy
Website copy is the key to enticing new customers to contact you. Writing headlines that contain your location and keywords + using your experience/imagination to paint a picture + icons/short lists/bullets = Money Making Copy.
